Kidventure Camp

Ever been on a spiritual retreat? At Kidventure Camp, like a “spiritual retreat,” we just seem to hear God more clearly. Friendships are quickly formed. We have fun and worship undistracted by technology. We spend more time outdoors playing, worshipping, and learning to listen to Him.  Away from the everyday, God speaks in special ways.

Designed for completed 3rd-5th graders, Kidventure Camp does just that!

Who “runs” Kidventure Camp?
Jerilyn Winther is the camp director. She and her husband, Rick along with educators that work with kids in church ministry settings have been providing this opportunity for kids for over 25 years.

Who will be there?
Kidventure has our own space at beautiful Camp ToknowHim in Pisgah, AL. It will be only our friends from Northwest Christian Church along with those we invite. We usually have about 60 attend camp each year.  Teachers, leaders, cooks, counselors ... are all people who have partnered in ministry with us. All are background and reference checked.

What will the kids do?
Gaga ball, Volleyball, Football, Messy Games, Challenges, Glow in Dark Capture the Flag, Hiking, Swimming, Giant Swing, Canoeing, Color Run, Talent Show, Crafts, Line Dancing, Giant Sling Shots, and MORE!!! All while encountering God in new and exciting ways. Surrounded by positive encouragement, kids return from camp excited about their faith journey.  That’s what happens at Kidventure. We learn and grow in relationships with each other & HIM.

How about kids who have never slept away from home?
Kidventure is a great, safe experience for kids. The Kidventure team’s priority is to make kids feel secure and have fun. Please feel free to contact Jerilyn at any time.
